Sweeney’s Bothy Booking Calendar

The calendar gives arrival and departure dates to coincide with when the CalMac ferry sails between Mallaig and Eigg. This varies with the summer and winter timetables and means arrival dates offer different lengths of stay available. Please note our cancellation policy below. We strongly advise all our customers to take out travel insurance.

NOTE - as at June 1st 2025, Sweeney’s Bothy is fully booked through 2025 and 2026. If we have any cancellations, we will share those on our Facebook page or you can contact us to be added to the cancellation email list.

There is still some availability in Laig Beach Bothy, the Amazing Shed, and Shepherd’s Hut.

Cancellation Policy

  1. If within 30 days of making a booking a customer wishes to cancel their booking, a full refund will be given. Thereafter the deposit is not returnable.

  2. If written notice of cancellation is received more than 28 days before commencement date of the holiday, you will not be liable to pay any outstanding balance.

  3. If cancellation is notified within 28 days of the holiday commencement date, you will be liable to pay the full balance unless we are successful in re-letting the holiday.
